RBSD’s Offices at 161 William Street

RBSD's offices were designed and built in record time. A straightforward layout, coupled with the use of systems furniture, helped maintain a tight schedule. RBSD’s design of the new 8,000-square-foot facility provides an abundance of natural light. In addition to the open-plan work area, the office also features a conference room fully equipped with audio-visual technology and a library and staff dining room that can double as an additional meeting area.

To develop the project, RBSD acted as both project designer and CM. Careful planning enabled the firm to recycle doors and door frame assemblies, some built-in cabinet work and light fixtures from the previous office; a cost savings made possible because of the excellent quality and condition of the materials.
