Egyptair Offices

RBSD provided full-service design and construction administration for the total renovation of 4,300 square feet of office space for Egyptair within a corner of the 17th floor of an office building in Midtown Manhattan. Egyptair wanted to create an elegant space to accommodate a staff of nearly 20. RBSD's design capitalizes on the ample natural light and high ceilings of the space by locating the offices and work stations in an L-shaped configuration along the windows. Personnel and visitors enter the office suite through a sophisticated lobby/reception area with wood paneling and a recessed cove ceiling with pendant lighting. The flooring in the lobby invokes the rich look of marble, which is echoed in the marble surface of the reception desk. The renovations to this space also created a distinct ticketing office for Egyptair customers with a separate entrance.
