Limit state: The point at which a building’s performance criteria are met.
Mechanical Systems: Comprises the building’s heating and cooling systems, air distribution systems, exhausts, and system controls.
Smart Buildings: Environments for Working that utilize high-tech information systems, therefore requiring more room for wiring and ducting. Smart buildings are designed to enable the use of state-of-the art security systems, and future improvements in technology.
