Client: Promesa, Inc., Bronx, NY
RBSD designed a new 70-bed facility containing dormitory, counseling, and educational facilities related to drug counseling and treatment programs for youthful substance abusers. The building program included requirements for 70 beds, 12 classrooms, a library, and consultation, conference and training rooms; provisions for indoor and outdoor recreation, laundry, food delivery and dining areas, and administrative offices, security and staff support facilities. Program areas are contained on the lower three floors, with dormitory rooms on the upper two, allowing the facility to be used by non-residents while maintaining privacy for the residents. |
