RBSD’s award-winning design created a new facility on the roof of an existing medical pavilion. It was especially designed to provide a calm, congenial atmosphere for play therapy away from the stress of the medical nursing unit environment. The Center includes a stage, classrooms, offices, and multimedia facilities as well as provisions for study of children at play. The design won a New York State Association of Architects Certificate of Merit for Excellence in Design. |
