Freeport-Roosevelt New Women's Health Center, East Meadow, NY

RBSD is designing renovations to a three-story structure to create a new Community Health Clinic that will accommodate 20,000 annual visits. The $6.3 million project scope includes renovations to 21,500 square feet to enable the facility, originally designed for office/business occupancy, to house exam rooms, a dental clinic, a Women, Infants and Children's Program (WIC), general radiology unit, healthcare disparity unit, physical medicine and rehabilitation/community fitness center, as well as headquarters for the Memorial Economic Development Corporation. The interior spaces and details are being designed to create a user-friendly, warm environment that facilitates the provision of state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services. The building also has an additional 3,000 square feet of unassigned space.
