Client: The Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Jamaica, NY
RBSD provided full-service design for an addition to east side of The Jamaica Hospital Medical Center that provided expansions to the emergency department (15,800 square feet), a new lobby, a total of 10 new LDR rooms, and converted four existing traditional rooms to LDR rooms. The expansion was accomplished in a "bump-out" addition that wraps around the existing delivery facilities, creating a new protected canopy for the main hospital entrance two floors below. |
