In joint venture with another firm, RBSD provided full service planning, design, and construction administration for a new $125 million replacement facility that includes a 364,000-square-foot, 320-bed acute-care hospital and a 44,000-square-foot ambulatory care center focusing on behavioral medicine.
With large glass windows and a classically modern granite and metal façade, the design of the new Jersey City Medical Center reflects the revitalization that Jersey City has undergone, and capitalizes on the spectacular views that the site offers of the Statue of Liberty and the Lower Manhattan skyline. |
