Client: Augustana Lutheran Home, Brooklyn, NY
RBSD provided programming, planning, design, interior design, and SEQR/ ULURP assistance for a new 240-bed, seven-story skilled nursing facility. The ground floor includes administration auxiliary services and a large multipurpose room/chapel. Each nursing floor has its own dining/recreation room. By connecting the facility to the existing Lutheran Medical Center via an enclosed pedestrian bridge on the third-story level, the design expedites the use of the hospital's diagnostic and treatment services. |
